FAQs

How do I book a stay?

Use the Book your stay buttons to open the current booking calendar or choose the Airbnb link on the stay detail page.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed at either stay. We keep the property pet free for guest comfort and the wildlife that uses the surrounding forest.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes. The minimum stay is two nights on weekends. Some peak periods may require longer. Check the booking calendar for current minimums.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made five days or more before check-in receive a full refund less any applicable service fees. Cancellations within one day of check-in and early departures are non refundable. Rates and policies are subject to change, so confirm at the time of booking.

Are events or parties allowed?

Events and parties require prior approval and may carry additional fees or restrictions. Reach out to the hosts before booking so we can plan together.

What is the difference between the Treehouse and the Cabin?

The Treehouse is more rustic and adventure-focused with height, a hanging bridge, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor shower. The Cabin is more comfort-focused with a full kitchen, bath, Wi-Fi, TV, fireplace, and keypad self check-in.

Is the property wheelchair accessible?

The Treehouse is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations due to the bridge, stairs, height, and outdoor terrain. The Cabin has step access and uneven outdoor surfaces. Contact the hosts to discuss specific access needs before booking.

Which stay is best for families?

The cabin is the easier comfort stay for many families. The Treehouse is playful and memorable, but children under 10 need supervision because of height and safety features.

Which stay is right for me?

Pick the Treehouse if you want height, adventure, outdoor cooking, and the climbing wall and bridge experience. Pick the Cabin if you want a full kitchen, bathtub, indoor fireplace, Wi-Fi and TV, and a quieter, more conventional stay.

What is there to do nearby?

More than ten lakes are within a 15 to 30 minute drive. Hiking at Enderby Cliffs and Rose Swanson, biking at SilverStar, the Armstrong Farmers Market, Caravan Farm Theatre, Village Cheese Company, and farm to table dining are all close by. Our Things to Do page lists them by category.

How do I contact the hosts?

Call or text Mercy and Perry at (778) 930-0988, or email okanagantreehouseadventures@gmail.com. We respond quickly during normal hours.

What beds are in the Cabin?

The cabin has a king bed in the loft, a bunk room with two single beds, and a hide-a-bed sofa in the living room.

Does the cabin have a full kitchen?

Yes. The cabin includes a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, cooking basics, dishwasher, electric stove, double oven, coffee makers, toaster, blender, and dining table.

Is self check-in available at the cabin?

Yes. The cabin listing includes self check-in with a keypad.

Is hot tub and sauna access included?

Hot tub and sauna are available by appointment for a $25 nightly fee. They sit on the owner's side of the property and are shared, with guest privacy prioritized.

Can I bring my dog to the Cabin?

No. The Cabin is pet free, like the Treehouse. We keep both stays pet free for the comfort of all guests and the local wildlife.
